The Drupa 2016 with 17 halls of the Messe Dusseldorf Exhibition Center welcomed over 300,000 visitors all around the world from 31st May till 10th June in 2016.

At Drupa 2016, JMD presented a series of latest innovated smart finishing solutions focusing on digital print-on-demand production: Digital Robot 500C and Digital Robot 2000A, which attracted many industry vendors and visitors’ great attention.

Drupa “Global Trends” reports “digital printing plays an increasing role in the technology mix deployed. Among print services providers, 65% produce using both conventional and digital methods, and one third of commercial printers already gain a quarter or more of their turnover from digital printing”.

Both Digital Robot 500C and 2000A are smart and easy for operation, featuring on high automation, short make-ready time and top binding quality. All adjustments can be finished automatically, besides, which is specially designed and firmly built with European standard. 

What’s more, JMD formed many new partnerships at Drupa 2016 as well, including not only many large size printing house owner and overseas agents, but also many excellent peers review. Even the international post-press leader Muller Martini also gave high recognition to JMD digital finishing solution and expressed the intention of deep cooperation.

JMD enjoys a great market share on digital finishing solution in China, up to now, Digital Robot machines have been successfully installed more than 10 sets. JMD designed Digital Robot 2000C is very flexible to be in-line connected with various brands printers, such as HP, Kodak, Ricoh, greatly improving production efficiency and saving labor cost.

That was successfully installed in Nanjing Phoenix and Hucais group. Nanjing Phoenix adopts the first fully auto print-on-demand digital production line in Asia, connecting JMD Digital Robot 2000C with Kodak Prosper 1000 and Hunkeler paper processing system in 2011. Furthermore, in 2012, Hucais group as one of the largest digital printing companies in Asia, entered into the market of personalized printing, and has successfully adopted JMD Digital Robot 2000C in-line with HP T-260 and Manroland paper processing system.
