The 7th National Professional Skills Final Contest for Book Binding is held at JMD from 15th to 19th Nov. 2020. There are about 138 finalists, who are the experts on book binding from 26 provinces of China, including professional workers (coming from largest printing companies in China) and excellent college students (coming from universities and colleges). 

On the morning of 15th Nov. 2020, the opening ceremony was successfully held at JMD, and was presided over by Mr. Guo Ming, deputy secretary general of China Printing Technology Association. A number of guests and experts were warmly welcomed to attend the event, including Mr. Chu Tingliang (the vice chairman of China Printing Technology Association, and the secretary-general of event organizing committee), Mr. Zheng Bin (President of JMD Intelligent Machinery Co., Ltd.) , Mr. Zhang Yi (President of Beijing Printing Association) , Mr. Zhang Tinghai (the Secretary general of Beijing Printing Association), Mr. Fu Yong (the Secretary-general of Shanghai Printing Industry Association), Mr. Li Baozhong (the Secretary general of Shandong Printing Association), Mr. Yuan Haomin (deputy secretary general of Jiangsu Printing Industry Association), and Mr. Shen Guoyong (the final contest chief referee).

At the beginning of the opening ceremony, Mr. Zheng Bin, president of JMD delivered a welcome speech, expressing warm welcome and sincere congratulations to all the finalists entering into the national competition final contest. 

At the event, all referees and finalist representatives took an oath that referees would respect finalists and make judge fairly and impartially, all finalists would strictly abide the competition rules, and make their best to achieve good grades.

In the end, Mr. Chu Tingliang, and Mr. Zheng Bin knock the gong together and announce the final contest starts. 

There are 138 finalists from 26 provinces attending the 7th National Professional Skills Final Contest for Book Binding, which focuses on the operation skills for perfect binding system, and the theoretical knowledge including identification of binding process, identification of quality defects for perfect bound books, and troubleshooting methods.
